Wilda “Butsy” Ann Liner Hebert, age 80, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. She was a native and resident of Theriot, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in St. Eloi Catholic Cemetery.
Butsy is survived by her son, Carroll J. Hebert Jr. and wife, Karen; daughter, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Higgins and husband, Bobby; brother, Sines Peter Liner Jr. and Eldrich M. Liner and wife, Glenda; sister-in-law, Geraldine C. Liner; grandchildren, Bobby "Buddy" J. Higgins II and wife, Shylar, Christopher M. Hebert and wife, Jina, Cody J. Hebert and wife, Kristian; and great-grandchildren, Daylon J. and Sofia G, Higgins, Breena L. and Brooke A. Trahan, Cade M., Kinzley A., and Kodie Jade Hebert.
Butsy was preceded in death by former husband, Carroll J. Hebert Sr.; parents, Sines Peter Sr. and Melvina DeHart Liner; brother, Sterling J. Liner Sr.; sister, Verlin M. Hebert and husband, Melvin; and Earline D. Liner.
Butsy was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. She was a member of the Dularge Volunteer Fire Department, and Knights of Columbus Ladies’ Auxiliary 8779. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and Joy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all whose hearts she touched.
