Wesley “Jughead” Vail, Jr., 63, a resident of Theriot, Louisiana, died February 5 2018.
Friends and Family are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5:00pm. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service time will be at 11:00 at the Funeral Home with burial in St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.
He is survived by his companion of 12 years, Renetta DeHart, his son, Wesley “Buster” Vail, III; daughter, Jammie Dehart and husband Danny Dehart, Jr.; brothers, Frankie “Bubba” Vail and wife Cindy, Wade Vail and wife Trisha; and his special family Uncle Dane and Nanny Lou Ledet, Sr., Becky Bonnecarrere and husband Stephen, Dane “Peanut” Ledet, Jr., and wife Dawn, and Wendie Darcey; grandchildren, Celeste and Lil Danny Dehart, Wesley John, Erin and Sophie Vail.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Melinda Callahan Vail; parents, Wesley Vail, Sr, and Betty Sagona Vail.
He was the owner and operator of Jug’s Seafood for over 27 years. Jug was a hard working man that loved the outdoors. His delicious boiled seafood brought many people from miles away to eat in Theriot at Jug’s Seafood.
Jug was definitely one of a kind. He was a man you met and never forgot.
