Wendy Thibodaux

Wendy Lea Wolfertz Thibodaux, age 53, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 18, 2021, at 4:52 a.m. after a battle with lung cancer. She was a native and resident of Houma LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, June 28, 2021, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery.

Wendy is survived by her husband of 14 years, Todd J. Thibodaux; daughter, April Harrington; stepdaughter, Kristin Bourgeois and husband, Logan; stepson, Trey Thibodaux; mother, Helen Wolfertz; brother, Kurt Wolfertz, Sr. and wife, Angel, and Erick Wolfertz; sister, Nicole Wolfertz; granddaughter, Mila Bourgeois; and mother-in-law, Gail Thibodaux.

Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Karl Wolfertz; and father-in-law, Rudy J. Thibodaux.

Wendy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all whose hearts she touched.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
