Wayne Hebert

December 17, 1940 — February 5, 2022

Wayne Joseph Hebert, 81, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 5, 2022.  Wayne was a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 9:00am until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. A Ministry service will follow beginning at 11:00am. Burial will take place in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Wayne is survived by his son, Darren Hebert; daughter, Denise Hebert; brother, Lynn Hebert and wife Mona; wife, Beverly Beaulieu; step-sons, Allen Reed and wife Jennifer, and Chris Reed and wife Paula; step-daughters, Dani Reed, Tracy Reed, Erica Nixon and husband Pablo and Angelia Reed; and loving grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Wayne is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Rene and Dorothy Babin Hebert; brother, Rene Hebert Jr., Everette Hebert; sister; Judy Dufrene; and grandson, Allen F. Reed.

Wayne was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He also served as a lineman for Terrebonne Parish for eighteen years.  He also served the community as an electrician.  Wayne was a member of Christian Faith Fellowship. Wayne practiced his Christian Faith by helping anybody he could help throughout his life.  He was an avid Saints football fan.

The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice and Bayou Home Care for their love and support given to the family and Wayne during their time of need.
