Wanda LeBlanc Boudreaux, 89, died Thursday, October 12, 2017. She was a native and resident of Houma. Visitation will be Monday, October 16, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home. Family visitation is 8:30-9:30 a.m. and public visitation is 9:30 until -11:30 a.m. A rosary and prayer service will be conducted at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Terrebonne Memorial Park. Wanda LeBlanc Boudreaux is survived by her daughter Michele Boudreaux and spouse, Skip Boudreaux; sister, Ivy Rose LeBlanc Lind; brother, Gerald "Jerry" LeBlanc and spouse, Lois; grandchildren, Ray B. Boudreaux, III, Sharon Boudreaux Womack, Rochelle Boudreaux Cochran, Bridget Boudreaux Bourgeois, Judd Boudreaux, Ben Boudreaux, JeauxLis Laughlin Savage, Jacob Boudreaux, Michael Boudreaux, Jessica Boudreaux and Henri Boudreaux. As well as, twenty great-grandchildren. Wanda is proceeded in death by her father, Ivey LeBlanc; mother, Daisy Banzhoff; husband, Ray B. Boudreaux, Sr.; sister, Gloria; sons, Ray B. Boudreaux, Jr., Gerald "Jerry" Boudreaux, Harry Boudreaux; niece, Julia Ann Toups; grandchildren, Renee' Cherie Boudreaux and Zachary John Womack. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a true teacher at heart and could connect with children in a very special way. Wanda had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. She also loved to fish and to dance. Wanda loved life. Wanda taught for Terrebonne Parish School District for a number of years and after an early retirement taught for several more years at St. Bernadette Catholic School. She lived the remainder of her days traveling, fishing, dancing and shopping. She will be sadly missed by many. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Boudreaux family.
