Wallace Hebert

Wallace Joseph Hebert, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 7:10 p.m. He was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 beginning at 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in the church cemetery.

Wallace is survived by his brother, Reis Hebert and wife, Melva; sister, Clara H. Neil; sisters-in-law, Nettie and Elaine Hebert.

Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Louis Sr. and Juliane Marie Duplantis Hebert; brothers, Walter, Morris, William, Charles Ray, Ivy Sr. and wife, Agnes, Russell "CoCo" Sr. and wife, Eula, Henry "Picky" Jr. and wife, Nelda, Junius "Bud", Warren "Peter", Amos and wife, Letty Ann, and Aaron and wife, Florence Hebert; sisters, Frances Hebert, Lois H. Crochet and husband, Miller; brother-in-law, Roosevelt Neil.

Wallace was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing pedro and washers with his nephews, spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all whose hearts he touched. Special thanks to his niece, Peggy Hebert Portier and husband, Steve and nephew, Tommy "Weed" Hebert who he loved like a son, Dr. Robert Alexander and staff,  TGMC 4^th floor, and Kindred Home Health. In lieu of flower donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, masks are required and social distancing should be practiced.
