Victor Paul Lirette

Victor Paul Lirette, 38, entered into his eternal rest on November 1, 2024. He was a beloved father, a wonderful brother, a loving son, a devoted husband, and honest friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Victor was born on October 20, 1986, in Houma, Louisiana, where he spent his formative years. He joined the US Navy in 2005 and was stationed in San Diego, CA, where he met the love of his life, Yvette. He later brought his family back to Houma, LA where he joined the oilfields as a Wireline Engineer. Throughout his career, Victor was known for his hard work, dedication, respect, and passion for helping others. But more than anything, Victor was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with his children, sharing stories, listening to music with them, playing games, and watching their favorite movies or TV shows. Victor was there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement no matter what challenges they faced.

Victor is survived by his loving wife Yvette Juarez-Lirette, his wonderful children; Katherine Lirette, Penelope Lirette, and Kingston Lirette, his parents; Tracy Lirette and Gloria Lirette, as well his sister Amanda Lirette and Niece Harley Lirette. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him. He will truly be missed but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to Chauvin Funeral Home to attend a Visitation on November 20, 2024, from 8 AM until time of his Celebration of Life service beginning at 10 AM. In honor of Victor's military service, he will be laid to rest at the Southeast Louisiana Veteran Cemetery at 1:30 PM. 

In his honor, please wear his favorite colors blue and white, thank you. Family and friends know he would never want a serious funeral, so please bring all the smiles you can to help us send Victor off in the only way he would approve of a Celebration of Life.
