Vera Scioneaux

Vera Lirette Scioneaux, age 64, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021. She was a native Bourg and a resident of Ball, LA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Ann Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church with burial in the church cemetery.

Vera is survived by her stepmother, Barbara Fontenot Lirette; siblings, Ralph Lirette Sr, Eric Lirette and wife Nicole; stepsiblings, Karen Leonard and husband Dennis, Belinda Kimbro and husband Gary, Timothy Fontenot, Alton Fontenot, Melissa Harwell and husband Aaron, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vera is preceded in death by her parents, Donald Lirette, Sr., and Judith Lirette; brother, Donald “Donnie” Lirette, Jr.

Vera was a very loving woman who loved her family dearly. She adored her nieces and nephews. She is now reunited with her loving parents who passed before her. She is now at rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
