Tommy spent his entire career as an educator. He was a coach, teacher, assistant principal, principal, supervisor and school board member and president in a career that had a span of thirty-years.

Tommy cherished his family and loved spending time with his beloved Lua, his children and his grandchildren. In his younger years, Tommy was an avid duck hunter and fisherman and was a life-long “chef” specializing in Cajun and Creole dishes.
