Thomas Molaison

January 16, 1952 — April 30, 2018

Thomas Joseph Molaison, age 66 passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 8:25 pm. He was a native and a resident of Theriot.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, May 3, 2018 beginning at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. and St. Eloi Catholic Church on Friday, May 4, 2018 beginning at 9:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will be held in St. Eloi Catholic Cemetery.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carla “Patrice” Magee Molaison; sons, Lee M. Molaison and wife, Stephanie, and Joshua J. Molaison and wife, Lauren; daughter, Natasha L. Molaison and husband, Michael Vallery; brother, Emelton "Poose" "Moe" Molaison, Jr. and wife, Geralyn; sisters, Judy M. Billiot, and Mary Beth Gautreaux and husband, Donald; grandchildren, Cullen Ezell, Calee Ezell, Brogan Molaison, Ansley Molaison, Gracie Lovell, and Carter Molaison.

Thomas is preceded in death by his adopted parents, Andy “Pan” and Wilma “Nan” Boudreaux Voisin; biological parents, Emelton “Molly” Antoine Sr. and Wilda Marie Boudreaux Molaison; brother-in-law, Philton Billiot; in-laws, Carl C. and Sybil Chappell Magee; grandson, Brayden Molaison.

Thomas was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot, LA. He was the owner of Tommy’s Stop N Go of Bayou Dularge. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Dularge Hunting Club, Rolling Hills Hunting Club in Utica, MS, Dularge Recreation Committee and a coach for many years, and a former member of the Dularge Volunteer Fire Department.   He enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR, playing cards, camping, drinking his Keystone beer, riding his golf cart and cooking Jambalaya in his big cast Iron pot for everyone. He also enjoyed hanging out and making memories with his family and friends at his happy place. But most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports. He was their biggest fan. Family always came first.
