Susan Martin

Susan Bergeron Martin, age 68, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023. She was a native and longtime resident of Houma, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, La Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Susan is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Sterling Martin; sisters, Jeanie LeCompte (Allen), Angie Bergeron (Earl), Lisa Bergeron; brothers, George Bergeron, Jr. (Pat), Keith Bergeron (Martha).

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, George P. Bergeron, Sr. and Rita Trahan Bergeron; sister, Mary Bergeron.

Susan was a loving wife, sister and friend. She enjoyed teaching children throughout Terrebonne Parish for over 20 years. Susan was a kind soul and could see the good in everyone she came across. She will be dearly  missed by all who knew and loved her.
