Susan M Laughlin

Susan Matis Laughlin, 68, a native of Paradis, LA and resident of Houma, LA, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

A small Memorial will be held in her honor on Saturday, October 22, 2022, starting at 10am in Pinehurst Place Park off of Highway 311.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Jade Modrynski and her fiancé, Chase Positerry of Houma, LA.; sons, Tony Bienvenu and Seth Modrynski and wife, Chelsea; granddaughters, Hollie Modrynski and Jaysa Positerry; sister, Jody Matis and husband, Ken; and brothers, Joey and wife, Cheryl, Thane and wife, Donna, and Kyle Matis .

She is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Wayne Laughlin; parents, Joseph and Velma Callais Matis; and two fur babies, Buttons and Zippers.

Susan enjoyed reading and she was an avid jogger. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure to know and love her.
