Susan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her faith and love of God made her to love one another and care for many. She was a 1973 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Chalmette and was a four-year member of the Charmers Dance Team. After graduating from Carol Ann Payne School of Dance, Susan became an instructor and owner of S & S School of Dance and retired after 35 years. Throughout her career her students became part of her family. Susan paved the way for many of her dance students and was also instrumental on teaching them life lessons as well. Her passion for dance went above and beyond the four walls of the dance studio. Susan loved all, but she loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She especially loved holidays and pictures of the grandchildren in front of the Christmas tree. They were truly her world and brought her much happiness in life. Susan enjoyed her years at GDC Young Learners bringing the loved of music to young children. Susan was past president of the New Orleans Chapter of N.A.D.A.A. (National Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts), a member of Dance Teacher United, and a former member of The Krewe of Hyacinthians. Susan is now dancing on the grandest stage of all to some of the best music possible played by her beloved son, Jake.
