Siles “Sibo” Joseph Foret

Siles “Sibo” Joseph Foret, age 82, passed away Friday January 1, 2021. He was a native and longtime resident of Chauvin, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation for Siles Foret Tuesday January 5, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Siles is survived by daughters, Anita Pierce (Chad), Vickie Babin; son, Ryan Foret (Gina); grandchildren, Jessica, Jamie, Shaun, Corey, Christopher, Emma, Claire, Eve; twelve great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Ruth, Beverly, Lorita and Shirley.          

Siles is preceded in death by his parents, Tonis and Norita Foret; sisters, Drusella Levron   and Rita Foret; son-in-law, Larry Babin.

Siles was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He spent most of his life on the water as a commercial fisherman. In his early years he enjoyed working with his hands, and spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
