Shirley Martin

Shirley Neal Martin, 85, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.  She was a native of Pointe Aux Chenes, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation Saturday, September 22, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Houma, LA from 8:30AM until service time. Funeral Services will begin on Saturday at 11:00AM and burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin, LA. 

Shirley is survived by her loving Husband of sixty-eight years, Iris Martin; Sons, Rodney Martin, Keith Martin and wife Judy, Stuart Martin and companion Tammy Morgan, Sammy Martin and wife Tina; Sister, Theresa Neal Belanger and late husband Hubert; ten Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Johnny Neal and Julia Rodrigue Neal; Brothers, John Neal, Cyrus Neal, Lawrence Neal, Houston Neal, Dennis Neal, Evest Neal, Uze Neal; Sisters, Pearl Neal Matherne, Lorecia Neal Benoit.

Shirley and her husband Iris enjoyed a full life together. They traveled to four-eight states during her lifetime.  Shirley enjoyed trawling and fishing and spent much of the time at their camp; enjoying the company of family and friends.

Shirley will never ever be forgotten and will be remembered and loved.
