Sharon Renee Wilson Stenger, age 55 passed away on September 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Houma and a resident of Theriot, Louisiana. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Norma Hebert Wilson; brother-in-law, Larry Doucet; father of Turner Miller, Larry Miller. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She treasured her family but above all adored her grandchildren. Her life was devoted to the care of others. Not only for her children and family, but to the hundreds of clients and friends she served during her 30 plus years in the beauty industry. She truly loved her craft and had a true passion for her work. Along with many other talents she was an excellent bowler and played on numerous leagues throughout her life. And of course it goes without saying; she was a loyal “Who Dat” fan. Words cannot begin to express the sorrow in our hearts for the loss of our beloved Sharon, but our Faith brings us joy knowing she’s at peace. On behalf of Sharon and her family, we would like to thank Chad and the staff at Chauvin Funeral Home, caregivers at Chabert Medical Center, Hospice of South Louisiana, Celeste Bauland, Connie Sue, Sheri, Susan, and her friends and family. To all of her clients, thank you for your loyalty and your friendship. She truly loved you all. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Stenger Family.
