Sharon P. Domangue, 71, a native of Chauvin and resident of Grand Caillou went to be with her Lord on Thursday October 18, 2018 at 3:29 AM.
Visitation will be held Tuesday October 23, 2018 from 4 PM until 8 PM in the Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 AM until service time Wednesday at Holy Family Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 AM with interment to follow in Holy Family Mausoleum.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Humen Joseph Domangue Sr. Her son Humen Jr. and wife Lana Domangue and daughter Sandy and husband Jason Falgout. Her brothers Jimmy Pecor, Ronald Martin and Tony Jones and her sister, Sharon Gatlin. Grandchildren Megan Falgout, Zachary Falgout, Heather D. Richards, Lauren Domangue, Megan Chauvin, Caitlin Andras, Cade Andras and Ami Fredrick, and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Pecor and Allie Trahan Jones, her stepmother and stepfather, Agnes Lirette Pecor and Thomas Jones. Infant daughter, Amy Domangue; Brothers Edward Donald Pecor and Terry Dubois, Sr. and sister Cheryl Sampey.
Mrs. Sharon was a cook at Grand Caillou Elementary School for almost thirty years. She was a parishioner of Holy Family church who loved cooking, friends and family and one who never met a stranger. She will be loved by all who know her.
Chauvin Funeral home is honored to serve the Domangue family.
