Sandra Foret Kaul

Sandra Foret Kaul, passed away on September 9th, 2023. Sandra was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Chauvin, LA. 

Family and friends of the family are invited to a visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Ministry Service will begin following visitation. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin, LA. 

Sandra is survived by her loving family, children, Melanie Kaul Boehm (Charlie), Wendy Kaul Hinton (Glynn), and Jacob "Buddy" Kaul, III (Lynn); grandchildren, Ashley Surla Ray (Josh), Hiedi Hinton Bradley (Blake), Christina Hinton Simonett (Sam); great-grandchildren, Joshua Ray, Jaycee Ray, Hinton Bradley, Brantley Bradley, Miles Bradley, and Penelope Simonett. 

Sandra is preceded in passing by her husband of 64 years, Jake; and her parents, Eddie James Foret, Sr. and Thyra Cundiff Foret. 

Sandra enjoyed fishing with Jake, traveling, family and gardening. She was a Master Gardener and participated in numerous gardening events. Always laughing and helping others. Sandra and Jake spent many years enjoying their  camp in Chauvin. Now, they are back together forever.
