Royce Anthony Bourg Jr.

Royce Bourg Jr., age 72, native and life-long resident of Houma, La., passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

The family will have a private graveside service at a later date.

Royce is survived by his son, Aaron Bourg; wife, Julie Bourg; sisters, Marlene LeCompte and Linda Jones (Chris); nephews, Chad LeCompte, Chris, Richard, and Jules Jones ; niece, Julia Petrolia; several great nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, SnowBear.

Royce is preceded in death by his parents, Royce Bourg Sr. and Julia Bourg; and grandparents, Aaron King and Julia King. 

On his free time, Royce enjoyed going deer and duck hunting, spending time in his boat trawling or fishing, and simply enjoying the outdoors. Above all, he enjoyed spending his time with his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
