Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, Louis Boquet and Rosena Arceneaux Boquet; brothers, Charles, Roy, Allen, Julius, Carl, Lloyd and Cyril Boquet; sisters, Mayola Blanchard, Ruth Pinell, Jane Champagne, and Gertrude Aucoin.

Rosie was a loving wife to Don. Together they created a beautiful family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great and great great-grandmother. Her beauty radiated throughout her life and reflected on her family. She loved her family dearly and will now look down on them for protection. She was the sweetest, most compassionate, thoughtful, funny, selfless mother to her children. Anyone who encountered Rosie was blessed with her presence. She was truly beautiful inside and out. She was also a good listener, cook, enjoyed music, going to the casino, playing cards with her friends; and she could not be beaten in scrabble. Rosie was a Christian woman who loved and served her Lord, devout Catholic and prayer warrior. The world lost an angel on earth and God gained one of the most precious angels he ever created.

Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Rhodes family.
