Roland Joseph Hebert, Jr.

Roland Joseph Hebert Jr., age 73, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. He was a native and resident of Montegut, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m.

Roland is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret "Peggy" Genevieve Mitchell Hebert; son, Roland "Scott" Hebert and wife, Crystal; daughter, Stacey H. Bergeron and husband, Russ; brother, Brian Hebert and wife, Cindy; sisters, Carolyn Hebert and husband, Andrew, and Rebecca Dantin and husband, Joey; grandchildren, Cooper S. and Cannen S. Hebert.

Roland was preceded in death by his daughter, Natalie E. Hebert; parents, Roland Joseph Hebert Sr. and Cecile Mary Robichaux Hebert Deroche; and sister, Susan Convenuto and husband, Al.

Roland was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He graduated from South Terrebonne High School then went on to business college and served in the National Guard. After working 40+ years in the oilfield industry, he retired from GIS at the age of 66.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him
