Rodney Hebert

Rodney Joseph Hebert, 65, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017. He was a native and resident of Donner, LA. Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home beginning from 6:00PM until 9:00PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Lawrence Church from 9:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Saturday at 11:00AM with burial to follow services in the church cemetery. Rodney is survived by his loving sisters, Marilyn H Landry, Carolyn H. Hebert, Diane H. Aucoin, Carol H Duet, and Belinda H. Rabun; his loving brothers, Kenneth C. Hebert, Darrell Hebert, and Danny J. Hebert. Rodney is preceded in death by his mother, Rena P. Deslatte; father, Junius Hebert; step-father, and Harry D. Deslatte. Rodney was a loving and caring gentleman. He was dedicated to his church parish at St. Lawrence Catholic for over fifty years as the church organist. He was an active member of his local community and served in the Knights of Columbus, Houma Lions Club and many other activities and organizations. He worked at J. Ray McDermott as an accountant and retired after thirty-four years of service.Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hebert family.
