Richard Anthony Wilder

Dr. Richard Anthony Wilder, 81, passed surrounded by his loving wife and family on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 4:00pm. Richard was a native of Philadelphia, PA and a resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 22, 2021 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow Mass in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery in Houma, LA.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of fifteen years, “Beth” Gianelloni Viguerie Wilder; children, Linda Cullen, Michael Wilder, Stephen Wilder, Jennifer Carlson, Mary Nicole Coletti, Timothy Wilder; siblings, Bill Wilder, Bob Wilder; and twelve grandchildren.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Eleanor Wilder. 

Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Enough Said!

The family would like to thank our indispensable friends Mark, Lorie, Jaime and Jacob; Caregivers Nurse Patti, Hydel Memorial Hospice, Iris, Monique and Nathaniel for the love and care they gave to Richard and family during our times of need.

The family request donations to be made the EWTN, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL 35210 in Richard’s name.

 Due to the Covid-19 pandemic; local and CDC regulations require facemask and proper social distancing while attending funeral services.
