Richard Redmond, Sr.

Richard “Fuzzy” David Redmond, Sr., age 80 passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 16, 2017. He was a native of Montegut and a resident of Houma. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Montegut on Friday, October 20, 2017 beginning at 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Bourg, LA. Richard is survived by wife of 61 years, Alice Ellender Redmond; daughter, Annette R. (Robley) Baudoin; son, Richard D. (Kelly Hutchinson) Redmond, Jr.; grandchildren, Joshua (Tosha) Baudoin, Kara Pellegrin, and Cullen Aucoin; brothers, Ivy (Hazel) Redmond, Jr., and Daniel (Priscilla) Redmond; sisters, Lou Ella R. (George) Vesey, and Liz R. (John) Kryvanick, Richard is preceded in death by parents, Ivy, Sr. and Wilma Pellegrin Redmond; brothers, Robert Sr. and Donald Redmond; sister, Mary R. Domangue. Richard was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a retired Drilling Supervisor for Texaco, and an avid Tulane sports fan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
