Reed Ledet

Reed Thomas Ledet, 22, died June 27, 2017 at 6:20 AM. He was a native and a resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Friday, June 30, 2017 9:30 AM until funeral time at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chauvin, LA.   He is survived by his parents, Thomas Peter and Sheila Marie Gautreaux Ledet; sister, Celeste Marie Metzger and husband, Steven; grandparents, Ivan “Johnny” Ledet, and Donald and Suzanne “Sally” Chauvin Gautreaux. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Etta Robichaux Ledet. He was a 2013 graduate of South Terrebonne High School. He was a dedicated fire fighter and EMT. He loved helping people. Always ready with a quick smile, deep laugh, and helping hand he was an amazing son, brother and friend. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ledet Family.
