Ray Joseph Bonvillain

Ray "Sugar Ray" Bonvillain, age 72, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023. He was a native and resident of Houma, La. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Saturday August 26, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. 

Ray is survived by his sisters, Jean Collins and husband Charles "Speedy", Janet Seago, Jill Chambers, Amy James and husband Donald, Linda Dupre and husband Tommy; brothers, Jesse Bonvillain, Tommy Bonvillain.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Ivy John Bonvillain, Sr. and Velma Boudreaux Bonvillain; brother, Ivy John Bonvillain, Jr., Philip Jerome Bonvillain, Travis Bonvillain.

Ray never met a stranger and loved visiting with his family and friends. You could find him riding his scooter all over town. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
