Rachael Walker

March 29, 1956 — March 22, 2022

Rachael Daisy Walker, 65, lifelong resident of Bayou Dularge passed peacefully to be with the Lord on March 22, 2022.

Visitations will be held in her honor on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Chapel Dauphine from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitations will resume on Friday, April 1, 2022, at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church beginning 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a church service starting 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories in Gray.

Rachael is survived by her husband, Clifford Walker, Brother: Willie Daisy (Enid), Sister: Sheena Champagne (Kenton), Brothers-in-law: Morris Walker and Rusty Walker (Karen), Sister-in-law: Elizabeth Burnett, Nephews: Willie Daisy Jr., Nicholas Daisy (Lisa), Trey Daisy (Juvina), Kent Champagne (Casie), Nieces: Carissa Champagne, Allison Lovell (Lance), Chrissy Hebert (Bryan), Great nephews: Dwight, Luke, Reece, James, Ivan, Austin, Caden, Cohen, and Collin, Great nieces: Jade, Angeline, April, Kaylee, Cami, and Bryley, Great-Great Nephew: Greyson, Great-Great Nieces: Scarlett, Harper, and Paisley

Rachael is proceeded in death by her parents, James and Angeline Daisy, Brother Dwight Daisy, Niece Nicole Daisy, and Stepdaughter Kimberly Walker.

Rachael will be remembered by her generous heart, contagious smile, her sweet laughter, and most importantly being everyone’s “Nanny”. She enjoyed crafting and traveling. Her family was her world. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all the lives she has touched.
