Quentin "Q" Thomas

Quentin “Q” Dion Thomas, age 41, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:20 am. He was a native of Gibson and a resident of Dulac.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, March 9, 2018 beginning at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday, March 10, 2018 beginning at 8:00 am until a Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 am. Burial will be held in Holy Family Cemetery, Dulac.

Quentin is survived by his wife of 18 years, Maranda Kristin Pierron Thomas; parents, Edward, Jr. and Rosalie Rener Thomas; sons, Micah Joseph Callais and Markus Deion Thomas; daughter, Mariah Nicole Thomas; and unborn child on the way; brother, Wesley J. Thomas and wife, Kendra; sister, Gena T. Ross and husband, Martin; mother-in-law, Cindy P. Parfait; brother-in-law, Quentin A. Pierron; nieces and nephews, Dorian, Payton, Gabriella, Landon, and Yzabella; grandmother, Louise Small Rener.

Quentin is preceded in death by his brother, Drexell J. Thomas; grandparents, Edward, Sr, and Elmira Dangerfield Thomas, and George, Sr. and Rosetta Singleton Rener; father-in-law, Mark A. Pierron.

Quentin was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoy working hard for his family and spending time with his family and friends. Most of all he was an avid dog lover. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
