Phyllis Lodrigue

Phyllis Felicia Lodrigue, 65, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 2:45PM.  Phyllis was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 9:00AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home.  Funeral services will begin following visitation on Wednesday at 1:00PM.  A private burial will be held by the family at a later date.

Phyllis is survived by children, Felicia Bourg and husband Corey, Warren “Tee” Bijeaux Jr. and wife Amy, Christopher Bijeaux and wife Shelly, Jewel Robichaux and fiance’ Jared; grandchildren, Natasha Marange and husband Josh, Chad Matherne Jr., Timothy Bourg, Melissa Martin and husband David, Monica Bijeaux, Tyrell Shelvin, Lin’Daysha Shelvin, Trey Bijeaux, Trey Lovell, Gabrielle Cruz, Xavier Cruz, Isabella Umanzor, Erica Robichaux, Joshua Robichaux, Chloe Eagle and Ava Eagle; great grandchildren, Drava Bergeron, Draven Bergeron, Wyatt Bourg, Isabella Martin, Brayden Martin, Karson Bijeaux, Jaxson Irby, Dominic Robichaux, Claire Pontious; siblings, Anthony, Pierre, Sidney, Morris and Howard Lodrigue and Barbara Chauvin, Yvonne Kennedy, Joann Vreeland, Viola Johnson, Antoinette Hancock, Margie Lodrigue, Rose Breaux, Linda Troulliet, Brenda Verret,  Margaret Sears, Lena Calloway;

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony “Popeye” Lodrigue and Florestine “Gott” Gregoire Lodrigue; grandson, Warren Bijeaux III, great grandson, Xander Irby; sibings, Phillip, Joe, and J.J. Lodrigue, and Ida Lodrigue; son-in-law, Eric Robichaux

Phyllis loved her family and enjoyed to cook and eat and share meals with her family and friends.  She most dearly loved her time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Phyllis will be dearly missed by family and friends; always loved and never forgotten.
