Paul Fonseca, Jr.

Paul Fonseca, Jr., age 73, passed away at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center on Friday, January 1, 2021. He was a longtime resident of Gray, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Friday January 8, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Memorial Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Paul is survived by his children, Connie Bergeron and husband Dana, Timmy Fonseca and wife Modez, Kevin Fonseca and wife Rebecca, Becky Coll, and Christa Thibodeaux and husband Jamie; nine grandchildren; sister, Patricia Crochet and husband Patrick.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Duet Fonseca; parents, Paul Fonseca, Sr. and Mildred Marcel Fonseca; daughter, Debbie Fonseca; grandsons, Logan and Chase Coll; sisters, Beverly and Irene Leedy; son-in-law, Gerald Edward Coll, Jr.; nephew, David Velasquez.

Paul was a blessed man with a large family. He loved them dearly and enjoyed his grandchildren. Paul was a simple man but had great value and work ethic. Paul was a gifted mechanic. Anyone who knew him, knew he could fix any engine gas or diesel. Paul is now at rests and reunited with his family who passed away before him.

Due to Covid19 and CDC regulations, family and friends attending services are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
