Patricia Savoie

Patricia Lapeyrouse Savoie, age 83, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Patricia now rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a longtime resident of Houma. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Chapel Dauphine on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery no. 2. Patricia is survived by her sons, Cody Michael Savoie, Barry Jude Savoie and wife Pat; daughters, Patty Ann Savoie, Melia Ann Savoie, and Kerri Lynn Savoie; grandchildren, Lacy Ann Savoie, Michael Chase Savoie, Courtney Leigh Savoie, Starr Angel Brashear; brother, Bubba Lapeyrouse and wife Debby. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Irvin “Dodo” Savoie; sisters, Linda Lapeyrouse Chauvin, and Janet Lapeyrouse Tabor; she is also preceded in death by two children and now reunited with them in Heaven. Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was as beautiful inside as well as outside. She took pride in her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Patricia was honest, dependable, loving, caring, beautiful personality, and hard-working. She loved tending to her vegetable and flower garden. Anyone who knew her, knew she loved to dance and enjoyed music. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Savoie family.
