Patricia, age 70 passed away at her home on June 16, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma. She’s now reunited with her beloved husband of thirty-five years, Buford “Boo Boo” Autin, Jr. and now rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel on Saturday, June 24, 2017 beginning at 3:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date. Patricia is survived by her loving and caring daughters, Andre’ LeBlanc and husband Darrell, Sherri Dugas and husband Lee, Tricia Autin; grandchildren, Casey and Jessica LeBlanc, Brandon, Jennifer, and Zachary Dugas, Dylan and Brooke Yates; great-grandbaby on the way, Baby Henry; sisters, Beverly Carroll, Yvonne Daigle, and Sybil Boudreaux; brother, Donald Chauvin; numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Buford “Boo Boo” Autin, Jr.; parents, Harold Chauvin, Irene Chauvin; brothers, Eugene Chauvin and Harold Chauvin, Jr.; sister, Maybelle Prather. Patricia was loving, caring, outgoing, she never met a stranger, strong willed and a disciplinarian. She loved her family dearly and loved her Lord. Patricia loved tending to her flower garden and was an avid Saints fan, “Who Dat”. She worked at the post office over twenty years. The family request that friends and family wear black and gold attire for their mother’s Celebration of Life Service. The family also request that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Autin family.
