Pansy Voisin

Pansy Marie Crochet Voisin, age 88, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 22, 2018. She was a native of Belle Rose and a resident of DuLarge, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Eloi Catholic Church on Monday, November 26, 2018 beginning at 9:00 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with burial following in church cemetery.

Pansy is survived by her sons, Guy Voisin and wife, Svitlana, Rickie Voisin, Grant Voisin and wife, Mary, and Reed Voisin and wife, Julie; daughters, Pamela Voisin, Rachel Heinhuis, and Regina Ragsdale; brother, Gerald Crochet and wife, Helen; sisters, Marian Faust, Elizabeth "Betty" Breland, Carolyn Aguillard, and Suzette Reed; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Pansy is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Elward Mark Voisin; daughter, Sonya Voisin Steger and husband, Wayne; grandson, Cory Ragsdale; great-granddaughter, Kalena Voisin; parents, Delmar Roman and Francis Elizabeth Rousseau Crochet; son-in-law’s, Bruce Heinhuis, Kenneth "Kenny" Ragsdale, Jr; brother, Alger "Jay" Crochet and wife, Violet; sisters, Wilma Richard and husband, Amos, and Vera Wallen and husband, Edward "Mertz"; brother-in-law’s, Carl Faust, Edward Dugas, James Breland, Horace "Ricky" Robinson, and Creighton Aguillard.

Pansy was a dedicated and active parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and crafts and was very artistic and creative. She was a loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother.
