Our sweet little angel, Owen Luke Smith, gained his wings on August 30, 2019. His 10 month journey through life was a tough one, yet he never let it show. His crazy spirit and feisty attitude always kept everyone on their toes. Although he fought the best he could, God chose to call him home. Owen will be greatly missed by his parents, Joshua and Ellen Smith, and big sister, Alyssa Smith. In addition to his parents and big sister, he was survived by: paternal grandparents, Jerri Smith, Rene J. & Alina Hebert; maternal grandparents, Scott & Connie Landry and Angela & David Eastridge, special grandfather Sammy Naquin. Great Grandparents Elliot & Lelia Landry, Anna Crotchet Hebert, Nora & L.J. Hebert, Velda & Douglas Bourg, Johnny & Shirley Smith. Special aunt Marguerite Dugas, Godparents Cody Landry & Christa Prejean. Aunts and Uncles, Caroline & Sophie Landry, Peyton Anthony, Sarah & Brennen Eastridge, Whitney Naquin, Ciera Merwin, Emily Farkas, Rene Hebert, Austin Bourg, and Victoria & Madison Bourg. Special Cousins Kaylee Truxillo and Kolton Naquin and an abundance of other relatives and friends who loved Owen very much. He was preceded in death by big brother Jayson Smith, great-grandfather Harold Hebert, great-grandmother Evelyn Smith, special uncle Jesse Dugas, and other beloved relatives. Visitation will be held at St. Elizabeth Church, 114 LA 403, Napoleonville, La on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. In celebration of Owen’s life, the family ask that you wear something blue.
