Otis Purvis

Otis B. Purvis, age 76, passed away Saturday June 4, 2022. He was a longtime resident of Houma, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial at Covenant Church at 4863 West Park in Houma on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.

Otis is survived by his wife of 53 years, Vickie Scott Purvis; children, Richard Keith Purvis and wife Tracy, Thomas Scott Purvis and wife Rachel; grandchildren, Kyle, Collin, Jason, Ethan, Morgan, Austin, Jacob.

Otis is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mary Pauline Purvis.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a great storyteller and enjoyed fishing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the National Kidney Foundation. Otis was a kidney transplant recipient of 21 years.
