Norris Price, Sr.

Norris Joseph Price, age 87 passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 4:35 pm. He was a native and a resident of Chauvin. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery. Norris is survived by his wife of 9 years, Georgiana Mary Granier Luke Price; son, Norris Price, Jr. and wife, Carla; daughters, Bonnie P. Lirette, and Debra P. Dupre and husband, Wade; daughter-in-law, Susan Price; stepsons, Bruce Luke, Craig Luke and wife, Sharon, and Allan Luke; sister, Beverly P. Boudreaux and husband, Roland; sister-in-law, Shirley Price; 10 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way. Norris is preceded in death by his 1st wife of 68 years, Jeanette Luke Price; parents, Stanley and Olive Bourg Price; son, Steve Price, Sr.; brother, Addis Price; sister, Doris P. Thibodeaux and husband, Munson; sons-in-law, Johnny Lirette, Sr. and Leland LeCompte; step-daughter-in-law, Carla Luke; 1 great-great-grandchild. Norris enjoyed hunting in his younger years, working and spending time with family. . Norris was a Part owner/ Operator of Price Seafood. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
