Norma Gene Tipper Vuillemont

Norma Gene Tipper Vuillemont, 81, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 1:00am.  Norma was a native of Florence, AL and a resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at  St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma, LA on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at St. Bernadette Church at 11:00am. Burial will take place in Florence City Cemetery in Florence, AL.

Norma is survived by her loving family; her husband of fifty-nine years, Lawrence Vuillemont; daughter, Devin Lee Rousse and husband Troy; son, Lawrence Scott Vuillemont; grandchildren, Kristen Vuillemont Sanders and husband Adam, Christopher Vuillemont and companion Kelsey, Lauren Vuillemont, Lani Rousse; great grandchildren, Ella Sanders, Kate Sanders, Blake Sanders, and Elijah Vuillemont.

Norma is preceded in passing by her parents, Lawrence and Regina Tipper.

Norma graduated from Santa Monica High School and Santa Monica Junior College in California. She worked for over 30 years as an office administrator.

Norma was a loving mother and grandmother. She adored spending time with her family and grandchildren. Norma was a devout Catholic. She enjoyed camping, traveling, crocheting, reading, and watching sports, especially football. She was selfless and considerate.
