Nell B. Martin

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nell B. Martin (88), a native and resident of Houma, LA, announces her passing on June 30, 2022.

A visitation will be held in her honor at Chauvin Funeral Home Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 9:15AM until the Liturgy of the Word at 11AM. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Nell is survived by her sons, Mark A. Martin (Margo) and Gregory P. Martin (Michele); daughter; Joni E. Martin; grandchildren, Brock Martin, Brandon Martin, Grant Martin, Matthew Martin, Isabella Biondini and Ginina Biondini; and one great-granddaughter, Elaina Martin.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen Peter Martin; parents, Johnnie and Nell Bergeron; sister, Catherine B. Hartman; and brother, Charles F. Bergeron.

Nell will forever be remembered for her love for quilting, but, mostly, for her love of family. Nell and her husband enjoyed spending time together at the casino and playing cards with friends. She will be dearly and deeply missed by all those who had the honor to know and love her.
