Mitchell Chancey, Sr.

Mitchell “Mitch” Scott Chancey, Jr., 54, died May 11, 2017 at 9:05 AM. He was a native and a resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 12 PM until 6 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Rachel Mae Vincent Chancey; son, Mitchell S. Chancey, Jr. and wife, Jessica; stepsons, Joshua Matlock and wife, Victoria, and Seth Hebert and wife, Mariela; brothers, Thomas Chancey, Jr. and companion, Eugenia, Richard Chancey and wife, Sheila, and Michael Chancey and wife, Shannon; sister, Lynda C. Acton; grandchildren, Logan and Charlotte Chancey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jeff and Joyce Marie Chancey; stepson, Damien Matlock.
