Merrill G. Lajaunie

Merrill G. Lajaunie, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and soon to be great-grandmother, 85, of Houma, LA, passed away on October 28, 2024. She was born on October 15, 1939 to parents Harris Guidry and Beatrice Trahan.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Calvin Lajaunie; her daughter Michelle Lajaunie King and husband Mark King and their children Kylie King Guidry and her husband Andre Guidry and their soon to be expected daughter Andie Marie and Emmi Faye King; her son Michael Lajaunie and wife Regina Lajaunie and their children Matthew Lajaunie and wife Katie Lajaunie and Jeremiah Chauvin; her daughter Debra Lajaunie and her fiance Dave Perry and her children, Alyssa Marie Pellegrin and Jordan Lee Pellegrin; her brother, Davis Trahan Jr. and wife Beverly.

She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Harris Guidry and Beatrice Trahan, and her step father Davis Trahan Sr.

Merrill was a selfless, loving and caring person who loved with her whole heart. She adored her children and especially her grandchildren. They will remember her loving soul and the Excellent homemade meals she created for them!
