Mercedes leaves this world behind to be reunited with her family that passed away before her and her Lord and Savior. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mercedes was blessed with a beautiful family and cherished her grandchildren. She exemplified herself as a wife, mother, loving, caring, compassionate, and her spirituality in her Catholic faith. Anyone who knew her, knew that she earned her wings through her faith. She was a homemaker and loved to work in her yard and take care of her home. Mercedes now rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The family would like to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice for their love and care shown to Mercedes when needed the most. A special thanks to our wonderful aunt Taunt Tis for all the help and support she gave the family. Also, to her wonderful person care provider, Nathaniel Word “Sneake”. They thank you for the great care you gave to the family.
Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mercedes Brunet.
