Mary Voisin

Mary Elizabeth Voisin, aged 74 years, a native of New Orleans and resident of Schriever died on Monday April 2, 2018 at 1:15 AM

Visitation will be held Wednesday April 4, 2018 in the Dauphine Chapel of Chauvin Funeral home beginning at 9:00 AM. Services will be held at 11:00 AM with interment to follow in St. Francis DeSales Cemetery II.

Mrs. Voisin is survived by her husband of 54 years, Larry Joseph Voisin; son, Larry Joseph Voisin II and wife Colleen of Suwanee, GA; daughters, Marilyn and husband Billy Jarreau of Cut Off and Carolyn Walker of Gibson; sister, Roberta Folse Guillot; Grandchildren, Jenny, Mandy, Jeremy, Billy, Ashley, Brandon, Callie, Wesley, Caleb, Lily and Jonah; and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Hector and Hazel Seely Folse; son-in-law, Jerry Walker.

Mary was a dedicated secretary for the Terrebonne Parish School District for 20 years. She enjoyed playing dominos and cooking for her family and friends. She lived for and adored her grandchildren.
