Mary Lapeyrouse

Mary H. Lapeyrouse, born on March 1, 1935, passed away June 11, 2017. Mary enjoyed and lived her life to the fullest.   She humbly served her family and community with all her heart. Her life was rich with Christian, family values. She continues to serve by praying for our safe journey to heaven. She was the daughter of Nicholas and Grace Carroll. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Elray J. Lapeyrouse. She is survived by her children: Christopher C. Lapeyrouse (Robin), Joan M. Lima (Gary), and Nichol M. Ledet (Corey). Grandchildren: Emma L. Lapeyrouse, Joseph C. Lapeyrouse, Charles P. Lima, Jason R. Lima, Austin A. Ledet and Owen E. Ledet. Brothers: Nicholas J. Carroll, Jr. and Thomas A. Carroll. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation and remembrance at Chauvin Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, 8594 Main St. Houma LA 70363, Saturday at 8:30 a.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 8:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery. All are invited to a celebratory gathering at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church community center immediately following services.
