Mary Dumont

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Mae Dumont. Born on November 22, 1928, in Morgan City, LA, Mary peacefully departed this world on June 27, 2024, at her residence in Houma, LA.

Mary is survived by her loving son, Henry Stephens; loving daughter, Elizabeth Chauvin and husband Huey; grandchildren, Tina Stephens, Henry Stephens III, Mark and Lance Chauvin; great grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Raegan Stephens, Madelyn Stephens, Henry Stephens IV, Mason Chauvin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clamey and Anie Lombes; grandson, Nicholas Chauvin.

Mary was a beloved homemaker who found joy in tending to her garden and showering her family with love. Her quiet demeanor, unwavering care, and devotion to her family and adored grandchildren will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who knew her.

She leaves behind her devoted son, Henry Stephens, to cherish her memory. Mary will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. She will be welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, where she will be reunited with those who passed before her.
