Mary Bergeron

Mary Alice Triche Bergeron, age 96, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. She was a native of Houma and a resident of Gray, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, November 20, 2020 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

Mary is survived by her son, Samson P. Bergeron, Jr.; daughters, Ruby D. Eschete, Judie D. Barbera, and Dale B. Rini and husband, Alan Sr.; sister-in-law, Enola Triche; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Samson Paul Bergeron, Sr.; parents, Atney Adam and Clothide Marcel Triche; daughter, Joyce B. Marcel; grandchildren, Bethany Rini Price, Alan Rini Jr., and Kim Patton; brothers, Clovis, Cleveland, Anthony, Claude, and Maurice Triche; sisters, Daisy Mae and Joyce Triche, and Hazel LeBouef.

Mary was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bayou Blue. She enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all whose hearts she touched.
