Marla Mazerac

Marla Mazerac, 70, a native and resident of Houma La. died on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 11:29 p.m. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Marla is survived by her son, Mac Falgout and wife Caren of Houma; daughters, Shyla Cohran and husband Curly John of Denham Springs, and Retta Linam and husband Donald of Houma; brother, Michael Mazerac and wife Juanita; sisters, Peggy Mazerac and companion David J. LeBoeuf, Jr. and Linda Mazerac Brunet; her fiancé, Dale Dazee; 10 grandchildren, Holly Usie Hebert, Rachael Mollere, Michala Dardar, Mackensie Dardar, Madison Linam, Hans Cohran, Hagen Parra, Cade Cohran, Miles Falgout and Maggie Mae Falgout; and one great-grandchild, Kael Meline. Marla is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence A. and Eula DuBois Mazerac; and one son, Todd Vincent. Marla was a homemaker. She loved cooking, fishing, shooting her gun and the casino. Marla loved being with her family and friends at the family camp. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the local SPCA.  Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to serve the Mazerac family.
