Marjorie Boquet Neal

Marjorie Boquet Neal, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Marjorie is a native of Pointe Aux Chenes and a resident of Montegut.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Ann Catholic Church on Monday, November 15, 2021, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Bisland Cemetery.

She is survived by sons, Wendell Neal Sr (Sandra), Lawrence Neal Jr (Stephanie); daughters, Irene Henry (Robert Sr), Julia Ledet (Raymond); daughter n laws, Rachel Neal, Caroline Neal; sister, Rena Lasseigne; brother, Wilfred Boquet (Inga); 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Lawrence V. Neal Sr; parents, Joseph Boquet and Flora Dupre Boquet; sons, Cecil Neal, Arthur Neal; step-sons, Allen Neal, Carlton Neal; stepdaughter, Elsie Valure; brothers, Lloyd Boquet, Lawrence Boquet, Paul Boquet, Edwin Boquet; sisters, Gertie Boquet, Josephine Bellanger, Barbara LeCompte, Marlyne Hebert; grandchildren, Shadrick Pierron Jr, Cal Neal, Kenny Pellegrin; great grandchildren, James Pierron, Matthew Norman, Dax Norris.

She was a retired bus driver with the Terrebonne Parish School Board with 20 years.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
