Marjorie Dupre

Marjorie “Margie” Stoufflet Dupre, 89, a native of Little Caillou and a resident of Houma, passed into eternal life on Thursday, December 14, 2017. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 9:00 AM until funeral time at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Roland “Bubba” Dupre, Jr. and wife, Barbara; daughter, Kathy Dupre Dryden and husband, Wayne Dryden; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Joseph Dupre, Sr.; two sons, Glenn Dupre, Sr. and Ronnie Dupre; two grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Dupre and Tanya Sue Dupre; parents, Adolph and Amanda Duplantis Stoufflet; and five brothers, Duffy Stoufflet, David Stoufflet, Dewey Stoufflet, Weldon Stoufflet, and Oswald Stoufflet. She enjoyed visiting with her family, baking cakes for celebrations, and playing cards with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending Wednesdays shopping with her best friend and found enjoyment in volunteering at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral School. We are blessed to have loved her, and she will be greatly missed. Chauvin Funeral Home  is honored to serve the Dupre family.
