Marilyn Paternostro

Marilyn Theresa Paternostro, age 67, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 3, 2017. She was a native of Jefferson Parish and a resident of Houma, La. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Ann Shackelford, Melinda Dee Boudreaux, and Marlene Kay LeBouef; grandchildren, Nicholas Joseph Dogan and Lainey Claire LeBouef; brother, Daryl Paternostro and sister, Cynthia Paternostro; stepfather, Donald Dispascal.She is preceded in death by her companion of 17 yrs, Rodney Tastet; father, Salvador Paternostro and her stepmother, Dolores; mother, Lillian Dipascal and sister, Darlene Rome. Marilyn was strong, smart, witty and loving mother to her three girls who she instilled confidence through encouragement and love.Friends and relatives are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, 5899 Hwy. 311, Houma, Louisiana, 70360 on Friday, September 15, 2017 beginning at 9:00 am, followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 am.  Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Paternostro Family.
