Marie Dupre

Marie Lucy Hebert Dupre, age 94, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023. She was a native and resident of Houma, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery #2.

Marie is survived children, Rickie Dupre (Darla), Teddy Dupre (Peggy), Bonnie Denton (James), Patty Mayeaux (Mark), Billy Dupre (Patrica); grandchildren, Jason, Joey, Teddy, Jr., Cody, Katie, Jennifer, Nicole, Mark, Jr., Billy, Jr., Andrew; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. Dupre, Sr.; parents Ludovic Hebert and Cecile Carlos Hebert; sons, Bobby, Timmy and Eugene, Jr.; sisters, Angelina, Bessie, and Cecile Hebert; brothers, Berwick, Jimmie, Morris, Ludovic, Jr., Walter, Leroy, Freddie, Edward, Charley, Albert, Cleo, and Huey Hebert.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
